About the role

Job Purpose: Manage education content pipeline, including content created internally or externally by third parties.
Reports to: ISSB Education Programme Leader.

The team

  • This role reports to the leader of the function that oversees ISSB’s education content.
  • The education content function has a dual reporting structure, with a solid line into the ISSB technical team and dotted line into the market engagement team.
  • This role does not include people management responsibilities but requires collaboration with a range of people across the Foundation including editorial and production staff.

Principal accountabilities

Manage Education Content Pipeline

  • Manage and analyse education content pipeline; create and circulate reports and project communications; and manage files/records in line with the Foundation’s IT policies and procedures. This will include ensuring adherence with the Foundation’s Due Process requirements and preparing reports for the Due Process Oversight Committee.
  • Diligently record education content ideas surfaced by colleagues and follow internal review processes that will determine which ideas are approved, which ones are put on hold, and which ones are declined. Document rationale for decisions made.
  • Work with colleagues to create a project plan for new content creation, including documenting the content scope/learning objectives, the content drafters and reviewers, and a realistic timeline.
  • Work closely with editorial and production teams to ensure content meets quality requirements and on time.
  • Maintain database of content in our Knowledge Hub, including materials published by third parties. Develop and implement a process to monitor ongoing relevance of materials to identify content that may need to be changed or removed.
  • Manage project plan for content updates to existing materials.
  • Project manage contractors and vendors who support the design and delivery of educational content, including design, copyedit, and exam development vendors.

Seek Out and Summarise Feedback from Learners

  • Implement feedback loops into education offerings so the Foundation understands how the educational programs are being received by learners.
  • Systematically organise and archive feedback so that you and the Foundation can track changes over time.
  • Periodically summarise feedback and share key takeaways with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications and experience

  • Proven project management experience, including managing several project plans simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with professional education industry and/or e-learning and learning management systems is a plus.
  • Experience working in English speaking work environment
