About

The IFRS Foundation’s annual conference will be held at the Leonardo Royal Hotel London Tower Bridge on 23–24 June 2022. This year’s conference will be a hybrid meeting—so you are invited to attend either in person or remotely.

However you join us, the conference offers a unique opportunity to receive a comprehensive briefing on the latest developments at the IFRS Foundation. The conference is also the perfect occasion to network with your fellow delegates, including representatives of companies that prepare their financial statements in accordance with IFRS Standards, regulators and other stakeholders.

The comprehensive briefing that the conference will provide includes an update from the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) on its current priorities and its future work plan.

Furthermore, this year’s conference will also enable you to meet and engage with members of the recently established International Sustainability Standards Board (ISSB) and its technical staff. There is no better way to gain a thorough understanding of the ISSB’s mission and its progress to date.

You will also be able to participate in discussions with the IFRS Foundation’s technical staff, and with other professionals interested in IFRS Standards, including leaders in financial reporting from the private sector and from many regulatory bodies.

This year’s speakers include:

  • Erkki Liikanen, Chair of the IFRS Foundation Trustees;
  • Ashley Alder, IOSCO Board Chair;
  • Andreas Barckow, Chair of the IASB;
  • Emmanuel Faber, Chair of the ISSB;
  • Sue Lloyd, Vice-Chair of the ISSB;
  • senior technical staff serving both boards; and
  • other IFRS experts from around the world.
